The biennial Notting Hill Essay Prize, now in its third round, is open for submissions.

The Prize is open to unpublished essays in the English language, of between 2,000 and 8,000 words, on any subject. The winner receives £20,000, with £1,000 for five runners-up. David Bradley took the top prize last year, for "A Eulogy for Nigger".  Read more
